Sibanye Stillwater (previously Lonmin)
CMT Engineering, together with Water hunters, implemented the anthropogenic project and to date we reduced their need for additional water by over 2.5 Million Cubes per annum; reducing their water cost by R 30 Million per year and the project paid itself back within 2 years. Project was initiated in 2012

- Optimization of bulk water balance.
- Automated wireless readings of all critical and non-critical aspects. Data delivery married to local SCADA system for easy accurate reporting
- Design, installation & integration of wireless water meter reading system
Rhovan
- Together with Water Hunters we have implemented and successfully executed a depollution well field around the process plant as well as TSF seepage water recovery.
- Monitoring and reporting on well field performance and health with the help of the data captured through the data collected
Goldfields Since 2016 to date
In partnership with Water Hunters CMT has executed a well field of some 20 Boreholes recovering seepage, as well as successfully implementing shaft depressurisation.
- Depressurisation at Twin Shaft with ultra-deep well installations.
- Two boreholes installed at depths of 280 mbgl and 398 mbgl
- First boreholes were calibrated and now pumps continuously with some 15 370 000 litres of fresh water to date
- The second boreholes are in the process of calibration and pumped 2 000 000 litres of fresh water to date
